The Evolution of Trade Agreements
The World Trade Institute at the University of Bern created a database called DESTA, the Design of Trade Agreements project, that houses data on approximately 790 preferential trade agreements signed between 1947 and 2014. DESTA includes downloadable data sets on sector coverage, depth of commitments, trade integration and compliance tools.
The Bertelsmann Foundation’s Global Economic Dynamics Project rendered the data in DESTA in this radial dendrogram where you can explore the data easily yourself.
